Kate graduated from Elmhurst University with her Master of Occupational Therapy degree in May of 2022. Kate had her fieldwork II rotations at Northwest Center for Autism at High Roads School in Genoa, IL working with children aged 3-22 and at Northwestern Medicine inpatient and acute care rehab in Woodstock and McHenry. After graduation, Kate accepted a full-time position at Northwestern Medicine Hospital-McHenry where she worked as an acute care therapist. Kate has a passion for working with children which was sparked during her fieldwork rotation which led to her looking for opportunities to grow as a pediatric therapist. Kate has a passion for providing therapy services that are holistic, family centered, and child-led approach to help children reach their therapeutic goals. When Kate is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her cat-Henri, hiking, biking, camping, traveling, and rock-climbing.
